Sonia Sieff

Let me introduce you to Sonia Sieff. We met when we were 14. We were not best friends... I remember one day, we were walking in the street, suddenly without saying a word, I left and she left. Then I met her two years later. I was doing music and she wanted to be a photographer. She asked me to be her first model with my cat. Today she's working a lot, she's my best friend and she's very good. Now when we walk in the street, we say goodbye before leaving. Her work:

The Hellboys years

In 2006, the Rock and Roll in Paris was screaming, all the young people were listening to garage-sixties bands, their style was a mix of the 50's and the 60's, and at this time I had a band "The Hellboys" The singer, Nikola, died in 2008, he had a heroin overdose. When he died, I felt it was the end of rock and roll. He used to say he wanted to die young...
I found this video today. As you can see, I was there but not completely there. I felt something was ending. I had Adanowsky's project in my mind and I wanted to say other things.
I was in this band for 8 years... I had a lot of fun, I learned a lot from it. I loved this guy, Nikola Acin. He was clever, so clever. He was a big fan of Elvis Presley and we wanted to create a church in France with a Jesus-Elvis statue. This year (2006) I did my first solo album and I had to do a choice. The Hellboys or Adanowsky? I confess sometimes I miss this band. I wish I could go to the past and play this gig again.

An afternoon with Ana and Devendra Banhart

Devendra was in Paris and he called me because Ana and him were starving. So the meeting was in Palais Royal. We went to 3 restaurants before finding the perfect one (who wasn't so perfect). We had a long conversation. I remember Devendra praying before eating, I thought he was crazy but Ana told me he was always praying before eating or drinking water. After the restaurant, we went for a walk and I took this picture in the street. They are beautiful in this image, we can feel their love and this peaceful day we were having.

Leon Larregui

I produced this album. His name is Leon Larregui. He asked me in Mexico to work on this project. So we went to Paris to work with my team. It was two month of recording and mixing and now it's a golden album.
It sounds like vintage-lennon-lou reed.
Leon was the lead singer of this hudge rock band in Mexico (Zoe), so he wanted to do a solo album. It was a dream he had but he wanted to do only 6 tracks, so I insisted to do an entire album because I felt he had to do it. So here it is. It's beautiful and it's called Solstis
